Limited large-paper edition, number 268 of 500 copies printed on English handmade paper and signed by Humbert Wolfe on the limitation page. Tall octavo. Original pale blue cloth lettered in gilt to the upper cover. 12 pages with two illustrations by Charles Ricketts. A very good copy with light fading to the spine and a few minor marks to the cloth with the contents clean and bright.
 
Number 12 in the Ariel Poems series, Troy pairs Humbert Wolfe's retelling of the classical legend with illustrations by Charles Ricketts, the artist, designer and typographer closely associated with the fin de siecle revival of fine book production and the long-time collaborator of Oscar Wilde. The limited edition, printed on handmade paper and signed by Wolfe, was restricted to 500 copies.
