Limited large-paper edition, number 158 of only 500 copies printed on English handmade paper, signed by Hilaire Belloc to the limitation page. Tall octavo. Original terracotta paper-covered boards lettered in gilt to the upper cover. A very good copy with some fading to the spine and a few light marks to the boards, internally exceptionally fresh and clean. Belloc's two own illustrations appear, together with printed musical notation for the titular sea chanty.
The ninth volume in the celebrated Ariel Poems series. The poem follows the imagined voyage of the Nona around the coasts of Wales and the West Country.
