First edition. Tall octavo, 175 x 225 mm. 46pp. Publisher's red cloth, spine lettered in gilt, in the original acetate and yellow slipcase. Very Good. Spine toned, otherwise the cloth clean and attractive. Original acetate complete. Slipcase rubbed and worn at the edges and corners, but sound.
No. 162 of 375 copies on Pannekoek paper, signed by Glenway Wescott at the limitation. The third publication of Harrison of Paris, designed by Jan van Krimpen, creator of the Lutetia type in which the book is set, and printed by Joh. Enschede en Zonen at Haarlem. Additionally inscribed by Wescott on the front free endpaper, Paris, 10 March 1932. An attractive example of one of the early Harrison of Paris productions, retaining both its original acetate and slipcase, and with an additional presentation inscription by Wescott.
