A commercially published dance music sheet drawing on the prominence of the women’s suffrage movement at that time. The cover design adopts fashionable suffrage colours of purple, white and green, while the banner reads “Notes for Women”, a musical pun rather than political slogan. The lyrics and musical setting are comic, satirical and almost like a pantomime sing a long in tone: "Votes for Women! Yes we don't think! No they won't, No they won't, No they won't take food!".
