A very good copy with the previous owner's neat contemporary inscription to the front free endpaper, light scattered foxing to the preliminaries and page edges, a few small marks to the boards, and minor rubbing to the extremities.
 
Vita Sackville-West's fourth novel, published before the works that established her literary reputation including The Edwardians and All Passion Spent. An early novel and rare to find as a first edition.
