No. 287 of 300 copies signed by Roy Campbell on the limitation leaf, this copy additionally marked as No. 38 in the Ariel Poems series. Large octavo, 12pp., with two full page illustrations by Barnett Freedman, printed on English hand-made paper. Original salmon-pink paper-covered boards lettered in gilt to upper cover. Spine faded and lightly toned, as usual, with a little wear at extremities and a few spots on the page edges; internally clean and fresh. Very good.
 
A finely-produced limited edition from the Ariel Poems series, illustrated by Barnett Freedman and signed by the South African poet Roy Campbell. The series, issued by Faber, combined contemporary poetry with notable modern book illustration and typography.
