A letter concerning the forwarding of a book via George Dubourg, and discussing the possibility of placing articles with the editor of the Cornhill Journal. Costello remarks that she “can do nothing with booksellers on my own account,” but suggests that through Mr Dubourg and Bentley an introduction might be effected.
Louisa Stuart Costello, Anglo-Irish author and traveller, published widely on French history, antiquities, and poetry, and moved within London literary circles that included musicians, antiquarians, and publishers.
