Writing from Ramsgate, Sambourne thanks the recipient for his arrangements, discusses having his friend visit the Punch office, and mentions the Bouverie St. premises. Edward Linley Sambourne was one of the leading illustrators and cartoonists of Punch magazine, contributing to the periodical for over forty years and becoming its chief cartoonist.
