VICTORIA, Queen. Coronation commemorative card printed with the Royal Crown and the words of "Fear God Honour the Queen". Bristol: Lander, [1838].
Printed card, 75 x 115 mm. Printed on one side with an engraved representation of the Royal Crown within a circular inscription reading "Born May 24.1819. Ascended the Throne June 20.1837. Crowned June 28.1838." Imprint at foot Lander, Bristol. Blank verso. A couple of light marks, otherwise very good.
An attractive commemorative card issued to celebrate the coronation of Queen Victoria on 28 June 1838. Produced by the Bristol printer Lander, it combines a decorative royal emblem with the national anthem beneath the patriotic ribbon bearing the words "Fear God Honour the Queen".
