Original red cloth lettered in gilt to the upper cover. 12 pages with two illustrations by Althea Willoughby. A very good copy with light fading to the spine and a few minor marks to the cloth, the contents clean and bright, the signature bold.
 
Number 32 of the Ariel Poems series, A Child is Born is Sir Henry Newbolt's Christmas meditation on the Nativity, illustrated by Althea Willoughby in a distinctive decorative style. The signed large-paper issue was limited to just 200 copies printed on English handmade paper.
