First UK edition published by Hollis & Carter in 1947. This is a very good copy. The jacket has a few light scratch marks to the front panel over worzel. There are a couple of small tears to the top of the back panel and some light wear to the corners. The book has handling wear although very little foxing and no ink. It is a notoriously fragile production and this book stands up well. A collectible copy. The third worzel book in the series and rare.
