Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel 1st / 1st 2009
First edition and first print published by Fourth Estate in 2009. This is a very near fine copy. The wrapper has very little if any wear and is not price clipped. Likewise the book is in unread condition and has no previous owners marks or ink. Overall very near fine.
Booker prize winner in 2009, Wolf Hall is a historical novel named after the Seymour family seat of Wolfhall or Wulfhall in Wiltshire. Set in the period from 1500 to 1535, Wolf Hall is a sympathetic fictionalised biography documenting the rapid rise to power of Thomas Cromwell in the court of Henry VIII through to the death of Sir Thomas More.
