Westwind signed by Ian Rankin 1st / 1st 1990

£150.00Price

This is a first edition and first print published by Barrie & Jenkins in London 1990. This copy is near fine. The dust wrapper has minor wear along the edges but no chips or tears. There is a small bumped edge on the bottom of the board. It has not been price clipped. The text block has slight browning and very light foxing. The pages are clean with light browning but there is no previous owners ink.

Westwind is one of Ian Rankin's earliest works. The Zephyr computer system monitors the progress of the United Kingdom's only spy satellite. When this system briefly goes offline, the book's main characters Hepton and Dreyfuss (the sole survivor of a space shuttle crash) have the only key to the enigma that must be solved if both men are to stay alive.
