This is a near fine copy of 'Waterland' signed by Graham Swift in first edition, first impression. London, Heinemann, 1983. The dust jacket is immaculate and without any visible signs of wear, aside from light crumpling and marking on the back side. The boards are free from chips and marks and are tightly bound to the spine. The text blocks are mostly bright and white, but suffer from some patches of discolouring at the top side. This copy is free from previous owner's ink aside from that of the author and is in near fine condition overall.
Waterland is a 1983 novel by Graham Swift, set in the Fenland of Eastern England. It won the Guardian Fiction Prize, and was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. In 1992, it was adapted into a film, starring Jeremy Irons.
