A collection of poetry from Sassoon, including a few about his experiences in the war.
These include ‘ex-service’ where sassoon writes “The darkness of their dying, grows one with war recorded, whose swindled ghosts are crying, from shell holes in the past, Dream Voices these - denying, dud laurels to the last.” A rare title in the excellent dust wrapper.
