This is a near fine copy of Francis Durbridge's 'The World of Tim Frazer' in first edition, first printing. Hodder & Stoughton, London, 1962. The textblocks in great condition, and without foxing or discolouration. The top textblock is dyed green with a few light marks showing some mild discolouration. The dust jacket is in near fine condition with a few small black marks on the back cover and light shelf wear in the edges if the cover, however is in overall near fine condition, and has not been price clipped. The boards are free from marks however has a small indent on the top corner of the book. Overall this is a near fine copy.

 

Francis Durbridge wrote several novels featuring the easygoing engineer Tim Frazer form the popular TV series ' The World of Tim Frazer'. In this thriller Tim Frazer receives a message from erstwhile business partner Harry Denston, telling him to meet him at a remote fishing village. Tim keeps the rendezvous but there is no sign of Harry. A series of strange happenings, including a Russian shipwreck and a dying secret agent, pulls him into the murky world of international espionage and leads him to uncover the truth behind Harry's disappearance.
