First UK edition published by Eyre & Spottiswoode in 1956. This is a very good copy. The Don Finlay jacket has wear to the spine ends and in particular the upper spine. The corners have wear also. It is not price clipped. The book has has a gentle lean. The pages are clean. Overall a very good copy. The author's highly acclaimed fourth novel.
