The Quatrains of Omar Kheyyam translated by John Payne 1st 1898

First John Payne edition privately printed by the Villon Society in 1898. An unknown limitation, with this being numbered 337. Decorated parchment paper covered boards in red and gilt. This copy rare as it is in near fine condition. There are light marks to the vellum boards but in unusually nice condition. There is a mark to the bottom of the lower board. The book and corners square and the binding tight. The rough cut pages are clean. There is browning to the first and last page. A verse translation of the Rubaiyat with 845 Quatrains. Rare in such nice condition.
