The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark 1st / 1st 1961

First UK edition published by Macmillan in 1961. The Victor Reinganum dust wrapper is in near fine condition. It has a crease to the bottom of the front panel. Along with very minor rubbing to the spine ends and corner tips. The jacket is complete and not price clipped. The book has a small number of light marks to the top of the front board. The pages are very clean without foxing or ink. Overall a near fine copy.
 
Muriel Spark's best known works and a highlight in modern first edition collecting. With the fantastic dust wrapper artwork. It was chosen by Time Magazine as one of the top 100 novels of the 20th Century. And also adapted to the big screen in 1969.
