The Portable Virgin signed by Anne Enright, 1st/1st, 1991
This is a near fine signed copy of Anne Enright's 'The Portable Virgin' in first edition, first printing. Secker & Warburg, London, 1991. The textblocks in good very condition with light foxing and slight discolouration on all sides of the textblock. The first three and last two pages have some spotting. The dust jacket has some black marks going down the back cover with some wear to the top edge of the jacket, and has not been price clipped. The boards are free from chips, however have a some small white marks along the top boarder. Overall this is a near fine copy.
Irish author Anne Enright won the 1991 Rooney Prize for a collection of Short Stories entitled “The Portable Virgin.” (Vintage Random House). This book is a collection of short stories that combines the formal with the miraculous, such as the film editor who edits his life.
