The Philadelphia Murder Story by Leslie Ford 1st / 1st 1945

First UK edition and first print published by The Collins Crime Club in 1945. This is a very good copy. The wrapper has a tear to the top of the front panel of around an inch. The bottom edge of the back panel also has a similar sized tear too. There is wrinking to the bottom of the back panel and small amounts of loss to the top of the spine. The superb illustrated Leslie Stead wrapper has been price clipped. The book itself is very presentable with clean and bright boards. The pages have no foxing, browning or previous owner's ink. Overall a very good copy.
