FIRST UK EDITIONS. All three volumes are first print copies and were published by Faber. The three titles consist of: (1) Pax Britannica The Climax of an Empire published in 1968. This copy is in very good condition. The wrappper has been clipped. There is mild rubbing to the top of the spine. The wrapper has no loss and no tears or chips. The book is very clean with very little wear. There is very mild foxing to a couple of pages and sporadic and light foxing to the side text block. (2) Heaven's Command An Imperial Progress. published in 1973. A near fine copy. The wrapper has minor wear to the top right hand corner. The spine is faded a shade. It is not price clipped. There is the occasional foxing mark to the preliminary pages of the book. Otherwise it is very presentable with little wear to speak of. (3) Farewell to the Trumpets an Imperial Retreat. Published in 1978. A very good copy. The wrapper has a couple of tears to the top of the spine. It is not price clipped. The book itself is in excellent order. Overall the 3 volume set is very good or better.
