The Intelligent Woman's Guide to Socialism & Capitalism by Bernard Shaw 1st 1928

First UK edition published by Constable and Company Ltd in 1928. This is a very good copy. The wrapper has wear to the top and bottom of the spine. The top of the spine has been strengthened to the reverse by tape. There are light marks and wear to the edges. The wrapper is complete though and not price clipped. The boards are very bright and the pages clean. There are some marks to the inside of the front board and light foxing to the text blocks. Overall a very good copy. 
 
George Bernard Shaw's book dedicated to his sister-in-law, who asked him to provide a summary of his ideas on socialism for her study circle. Not a rare book but one that it difficult to find in very good or better condition.
