The Hundred and One Dalmatians by Dodie Smith 1st / 1st 1956

First edition published by William Heinemann in 1956. It is a very good or better copy. The dust wrapper is mostly complete with a tiny chip to the bottom edge of the front panel and a couple of tiny chips to the top of the spine. The spine is a shade faded. The book has two bumped corners. Otherwise it is clean and without marks. The pages are without foxing. A better than is usually encountered first edition. 
 
Smith's classic children's adventure about Dalmatians, that has been made into an animated film by Disney and then latterly a film starring Glenn Close as Cruella. A rare book in this condition.
