First UK edition published by Jonathan Cape in 1937. This is a very good copy. The wrapper has been designed by one of the authors Pamela Whitlock. It has wear to the corners and edges. It has been price cllipped. There are occasional foxing marks to the side text block. 
 
This scarce book written whilst the authors were still children themselves, was styled on Arthur Ransome's Swallows and Amazons. Ransome provides and introduction.
