The Fall of Kelvin Walker signed by Alasdair Gray 1st / 1st 1985

First edition and first print published by Canongate in 1985. This is a near fine copy. The wrapper has very minor rubbing to the top edge of the front panel. It is not price clipped and is complete with no chips or tears. The book presents as unread. The author has signed his name to the front free end paper without inscription. Overall a near fine copy.

This brief fable was reportedly inspired by Gray's own visit to London as a struggling artist to record a documentary called Under The Helmet (in which he tried to increase his sales by suggesting that he was dead). Set in the 60's.
