The Evolution of Physics by Albert Einstein / Leopold Infeld 1st / 1st 1938

First UK edition published by Cambridge University Press in 1938. This is a very good or better copy. The jacket has a small tear to the top of the spine and some wear in the same place. It is price clipped and has minor wear to the corners. The first issue stiff boards with gilt motif and lettering on the spine are very clean. There is a small tear to the top of the spine that corresponds with the jacket. There is a previous owner's name on the front free end paper. The pages are clean and there is very little if any foxing or browning marks. Overall a very good or better copy.
