The Death of a King by P.C. Doherty 1st / 1st 1985

First edition published by Robert Hale in 1985. This is a very good or better copy. The wrapper has wear to the corners and spine ends but generally it is all there and hasn't been price clipped. The panels are very clean. The book is excellent with no wear other than the pages have started to brown. Overall a very good or better copy. 
 
P.C. Doherty's first book that would have been printed in a low print run. It is a hard book to find in nice condition such as this as many ended up as library copies. Detective fiction set in Plantagenet England in the 14th century. This novel started a run of titles published by Hale, by this writer set in medieval England. A rare book.
