First UK edition published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1930. This is a near fine copy. The complete wrapper has only minor wear to the spine ends and edges. It is not price clipped and displays the correct price of 7/6 net. The book boards are bright and there is very little browning or foxing. Overall a very nice near fine copy. A 'Surefoot' Smith of the yard mystery.
