The Crime Club by Collins, London, 1943. First edition and first print. This is a very good + copy. Orange cloth with black title to spine. Extremities a little bumped. Some wear to the top and bottom of spine and wrapper and also to the centre. Small and neat ink ownership to ffep and the date on the copyright page has been underlined. Overall contents clean and tight and in a very good + condition.
 
A very good + copy of this rare Collins Crime Club novel. The Black Thumb - an early title by the author, is concerned with the goings on in a large hospital. Nurse Norma Gale has to cope with several fever cases and then there's a sudden outbreak of murder....
