The Baby in the Glass signed association copy Gwen Cuthbert 1st / 1st 1923

First UK edition published by Alexander Moring in 1923. This is a near fine copy. The boards are free from marks. The spine is in excellent shape. The pages are clean. The first couple of pages have browning marks. Overall a near fine copy.
 
A scarce association copy between artist Wendy Wood and Fellow scottish illustrator Jessie M King. Wendy Wood was born Gwendoline Meacham. She was one of the founders of the Scottish National Party and also an artist. This, her first book, was written under the pen name Gwen Cuthbert. Although she was already known by all her friends as 'Wendy'. One of her friends the illustrator and artist Jessie M King, wrote the preface to this book. There is an inscription from Wendy Wood on the half title page to Jessie M King. She says 'With Love to The Princess from a very grateful little Wendy' she has also dated it November 20 1922, which is a couple of months before publication. Overall a very scarce title to find signed and with this strong association between the two illustrators.
