The Artist in his World signed by Alasdair Gray / Ian McCulloch 1st 1988


First edition and first print published by Argyll Publishing in 1998. First edition, Signed by both Ian McCulloch and Alasdair Gray in pencil to the front free endpaper. Original black cloth with silver lettering to the spine. This is a near fine copy. The colour on the dustwrapper has faded (common with this wrapper) except for a square of colour to the back panel. It is unclipped and correctly priced (£20.00) to the front flap. A bright and collectible near fine copy. 


Gray and McCullough met at Glasgow's Eastbank Acadamy in 1952, from where they both went to the Glasgow School of Art. McCullough's prints (monochrome and colour) are interspersed with eight poems written by Gray to accompany them. A rare title signed by both.
