First print published by The Daily Mail in 1899. This copy is in very good + condition. Some handling wear and the off mark and crease. Overall a very good + copy. 


'The Absent Minded Beggar' was written and distributed widely by Kipling to help raise funds for soldiers fighting in the boer war so that they could be provided with support upon return to civilian life. Kipling and the Daily Mail managed to raise over £250,000.
