Sharpe's Story, signed by Bernard Cornwell, 1st/1st, 2006
This is a fine copy of 'Sharpe's Story', signed by Bernard Cornwell, in first edition, first printing. Harper Collins, 2006, London. This is a beautiful hardcover in dark green, limited to 200 numbers I believe. The boards are free from chips and marks, and has no visible shelfwear. The textblocks are bright and clear, and without any discolouration or foxing. It is free from previous owner's ink, aside from that of the author. Overall this is in fine condition.
"This is my telling of how the Sharpe series began and how it has evolved over nearly thirty years. This booklet also contains the short essay Cakes and Ale that helps to explain some of the murkier wellsprings from which Sharpe emerged."
