Sharpe's Gold by Bernard Cornwell 1st / 1st 1981
£120.00Price
First edition and first print published by Collins in 1981. This is a near fine copy. The wrapper has very little if any wear at all. It is price clipped. The panels and spine have retained all of its colour. There is a faint ghost mark of a small sticker on the page page of around 2 cm's wide. The book is very presentable with no foxing to the pages or the text block. There are no previous owner's names or marks inside either. Overall a very presentable near fine copy.
Sharpe's Gold is the second (though ninth in chronological order) historical novel in the Richard Sharpe series by Bernard Cornwell first published in 1981. The story is set in August 1810 and features the destruction of Almeida during the Peninsular War.
