First UK edition published by Methuen in 1954. This is a near fine copy. The jacket is very complete and with very little wear. It has been price clipped. The book is in excellent condition with only very minor browning to a couple of pages. Overall a near fine copy. A semi autobiographical novel by Lewis. With the superb Michael Ayrton dust wrapper.
