Peril In The Pyrenees by J. Jefferson Farjeon 1st / 1st 1946
First UK edition and first print published by The Collins Crime Club in 1946. This is a very good copy. The wrapper is worn in places and in particular the spine and along the edges of the spine. There is a tear on the top edge of the back panel. It is not price clipped. The book itself is very presentable. The boards are generally very clean with one or two marks. The pages are very clean with no foxing or previous owner's ink. Overall a very good copy.
David Rorke is holidaying in the Pyrenees and on a coach with a range of interesting acquaintances. As the journey unfolds a grisly murder. Can Rorke get to the bottom of the mystery?
