My Philosophical Development Signed by Bertrand Russell 1st / 1st 1959
First UK edition published by George Allen and Unwin in 1959. This is a very good or better copy. The jacket is toned to a strip on the back panel. The spine has faded a shade. There is minor wear to the top off the spine and a tiny pinpoint chip to the right hand edge of the front panel. There is a light scratch to the bottom of the front panel also. The jacket hasn't been price clipped showing 18s. net. The book is in excellent shape. The boards are square and without marks. The burgundy top stain is bright and clear. There is no foxing or ink to the pages. Overall a very good or better copy. This copy is very rare as it obtains the signature of Bertrand Russell to the top of the title page without dedication or inscription.
Russell's intellectual autobiography. He gives insight into the changing nature of his philosophical beliefs and reflects on the fundamental themes that governed his thinking in later life. A very rare copy to find signed.
