Margaret Thatcher Childhood to Leadership by George Gardiner signed 1st 1975

First edition published by William Kimber in 1975. This is a very good or better copy. The jacket is faded to the spine and a few light marks to the back panel. It hasn't been price clipped. The book is in excellent condition albeit the pages have started to brown to the edges. Overall very good or better. This copy is scarce as it has a portrait of Margaret Thatcher as leader of the Conservative Party pasted to the inside board, it has been signed by her. She has also signed to the front free end paper. It has the bookplate of the previous owner, Bernard Thorold. Also, MP and author George Gardiner has signed to the front free end paper also. To the back of the book is a letter that has been pasted in, signed by George Gardiner to Mrs Thorold on House of Commons headed paper, hoping her husband will enjoy reading it. A scarce book as it has been signed by Margaret Thatcher and the author MP George Gardiner.
