A first edition and first print published by Hamish Hamilton in London 1987. This copy is near fine. The dust jacket has not been price clipped. There is very minor wear to the edges and corners of the dust jacket. The text block has browning but no foxing. The pages have browning but are clean and free from any previous owners ink. Overall this scarce copy is in a near fine condition. 
 
Madame Doubtfire, known as Alias Madame Doubtfire in the United States, is a 1987 novel written by English author Anne Fine for teenage and young adult audiences. The novel is based on a family with divorced parents. Well received upon its publication in the UK, it was shortlisted for awards, including the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize and Whitbread Children's Book Award.
