8vo; black publisher's cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine; in the pictorial dust wrapper of Robert Donat's vicar talking to a schoolboy, with a cathedral as the backdrop, back panel also has a picture of Donat as the vicar; pp 239; Overall a near fine copy, with a short repaired tear to the top right hand corner of the upper panel of the wrapper, and minor wear to the top of the spine, it is not price clipped, the book is in excellent shape; overall near fine. 
 
A rare copy of Baker's Lease of Life, that was published at the same time the film was being made, hence why Donat sports a dog collar on the lower panel. This copy is rare as it is signed to bookman F.D. Sanders to front free end paper by Baker and Robert Donat.
