First UK edition published by William Heinemann in 1990. This is a very good copy. The wrapper has a tiny tear to one of the corners. The spine has faded. The book is in excellent condition with no previous owners marks or ink. There is no foxing or browning. The title page has been inscribed to Hope Radio Station and signed by both authors Douglas Adams and Mark Carwardine. It is a rare book to be signed by them. Douglas Adams turns his hand to non fiction and to endangered animals. He enlists the help of Zoologist Mark Carwardine and they travel the globe reporting on what they find. A rare book signed.
