Junkie by William Burroughs 1st / 1st 1973

First UK edition published by David Bruce & Watson in 1973. This is a very good copy. The jacket has a small tear to the top right hand corner of the front panel and light wear to spine ends and corner edges. it is not price clipped. The book has one bumped corner. But otherwise it is square and clean. The pages have no foxing or ink. Overall a very good copy.
 
Junkie was first published in the US in 1953 as an Ace paperback with the author using pseudonym of William Lee. Burroughs first book. This is the first UK edition and first in hardback. It has become particularly illusive of late. A rare book to find.
