First edition and first print published by Heinemann in 1975. This is a very good ++ copy. The wrapper  has some minor rubbing to the top of the spine, corner tips and along the edges. The wrapper is not price clipped. The book is also very presentable with very little handling wear. Overall a very good ++ copy. With a loose bookplate signed by the author tucked in.
 
Travel writing by the author of 'Mirror to Damascus'.  This being his 4th book on the middle east. A rare title.
