First edition published by Viking / Penguin in 1993. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper is complete and without chips or tears. It has been price clipped. There is the occasional mark to the wrapper edges. The book is without previous owner's ink or foxing marks. Overall a nice copy. This one is rare as it has been signed by both Janet and Allan Ahlberg to a previous owner, on a front free end paper. Any books signed by Janet Ahlberg are rare. A lovely children's book and one of the last to be illustrated by Janet Ahlberg.
