First UK edition published by Hodder &  Stoughton in 1986. This is a very good copy. The jacket has some rubbing to the top left hand corner of the front panel. It is not price clipped. The pages have browned which is not uncommon for this title. Overall a very good copy. A classic that has been adapted successfully to the big screen on two occasions.
