There is a small chip to the top right hand corner of the front panel and also to the top of the back panel. The wrapper is very complete and clean. The book is near fine with only minor wear to the edges. No previous owners ink and free from spotting / foxing. A very good ++ copy and scarce with the dust wrapper. A Colonel Granby / master secret service story set in Spain.

Francis Beeding is the pseudonym used by two British male writers, John Leslie Palmer (1885-1944) and Hilary St George Saunders (1898-1951). The pseudonym was a joint effort and was apparently chosen because Palmer always wanted to be called Francis and Saunders had once owned a house in the Sussex village of Beeding.
