Enoch Arden is a narrative poem published during Tennyson’s tenure as England's poet laureate. It is about a fisherman that leaves his family to go to work at sea only to be shipwrecked on an island for years. On return he finds his family are now being looked after by his dastardly rival. Bad times for poor Enoch. Rare in its original binding.
