Drawn From Life signed by Ernest Shepard 1st / 1st 1961

FIRST UK EDITION published by Methuen in 1961. This is a very good copy. The wrapper has a couple of small tears to the top of the spine and some minor rubbing to the corner ends. The spine of the wrapper is a couple of shades faded. It is not price clipped. One of the corners on the front boards is bumped, otherwise all is very good. There is no spotting, foxing or ink. Overall a very good copy and rare as the author Ernest Shepard has signed his name to the title page without dedication. 
 
The second part of Ernest Shepard's autobiography, following on from Drawn from Memory. Illustrations throughout by Shepard, best known for illustrating Winnie the Pooh and The Wind in the Willows. Rare signed.
