FIRST UK EDITION published by HarperCollins in 1992. This is a near fine copy. The jacket has a gentle crease to the top of the back panel. The book is very presentable with no foxing or previous owner's ink. There are one or two marks to the boards. Overall a near fine copy that has been signed by Patrick O'Brian to the title page.  
 
Fifteenth novel in the Aubrey-Maturin naval series, it was released in the US as 'The Truelove'. This one is very rare having the author's signature on the title page without inscription.
